Mapping All Levels Of Detail

WineMap has evolved from three unique components of the Mapping Industry. 

DobleThomas & Associates, a land surveying & civil engineering firm headquartered in Cloverdale, California is responsible for WineMap's inception and development.  For decades delivering cartography through precise land surveying and civil engineering practices, DobleThomas & Associates with its comprehensive experience has a multitude and variety of clients relying on them for distinct professional services and products.

Commencing in 2003, the President of DobleThomas, Bradley A. Thomas, a Licensed California Land Surveyor, opened a retail map store in the Town of Windsor, California and named the business The Map Store.  In addition to retail sales of mapping products from around the world, professional GIS cartography and graphic design services are offered through the store and are managed by Jordan Thomas. 

One of the Map Store's first mapping endeavors was the publication of a very detailed and comprehensive set of Viticultural Maps for Sonoma County, California.  The project lead to the development of a unique approach to automated electronic data gathering and cartographic design.  The resulting published maps were as beautiful as they were detailed, and are now integral to the branding and marketing of the Sonoma County Wine Industry.  The Map Store has also mapped the American Viticultural Areas of Oregon State, and we look forward to additional mapping projects for any wine region of the world.

Bradley A. Thomas is also Vice President of Delta Geomatics Corporation, an aerial photography and photogrammetry firm with offices in Santa Rosa, California.  Flying fixed wing aircraft with sophisticated large format camera equipment, Delta Geomatics produces survey quality mapping products and astonishing oblique and vertical aerial photos.  These mapping products compliment DobleThomas & Associates' professional land surveying services and they provide a unique resource of aerial images dating back to the 1950’s that The Map Store can enlarge, print, mount or frame for customers.
