Land Planning
DobleThomas & Associates, Inc. offers planning services to developers, government agencies, and municipalities. We work with our clients to prepare feasibility studies and master plan documents that evaluate alternatives with the goal of providing the "best use" plan for the site and environmentally sound solutions. We identify potential impacts, obtain project approvals, manage the public participation process, complete the appropriate documentation, and follow through with the permitting process. We also work with municipalities to create and enforce land use planning regulations.
Aerial Mapping
Our association with Delta Geomatics Corporation makes available photogrammetrists and highly skilled technical staff utilizing advanced technology to transform aerial photographs into accurate, valuable geographic information.
3D planiemetric maps detailing location of roads, utilities and other manmade features impart new knowledge to our clients about their land. We also provide topographic data consisting of digital terrain models (DTM) and contour maps that precisely describe elevation changes in landscape.
We generate detailed land information by "tracing" features off the stereo aerial photography or satellite images using sophisticated mapping instruments. The digitized mapping data is checked for completeness, consistency, and cartographic standards. All of our mapping information can be provided as plots or formatted to clients' specific software applications.
